I once did a trade with a very kind lawyer in Seattle who helped me settle some financial matters in exchange for a painting. I showed him samples of my work and he wanted another painting I did called "Lady in Red". That was one of the few paintings that I just couldn't part with so I offered to paint a similar red haired woman portrait instead. This is that painting. Artistically speaking I like this painting more than "Lady in Red", but I wasn't as sentimentally attached. Still, I am glad to at least have a nice print of "Lady in Light".

I'm a mostly self-taught artist, currently residing in Humboldt County, CA. My works are mostly done in watercolor but vary in styles from photo-realism to abstract. Some of my sea life themed works are influenced by having spent 5 years living in the San Juan Islands, WA. I have not had a prolific, nor successful art career, but I envision that all changing in next couple years. I intend to use Fine Art America as the means to offer prints of my work.
