People always ask me who she is. I usually say "My wife someday". Yes, I do have a fondness for beautiful red haired women. Another interesting thing about this painting, was what my uncle said when he first saw it. He said she resembled his mother, my grandmother whom I never met.
About Cory Calantropio
I'm a mostly self-taught artist, currently residing in Humboldt County, CA. My works are mostly done in watercolor but vary in styles from photo-realism to abstract. Some of my sea life themed works are influenced by having spent 5 years living in the San Juan Islands, WA. I have not had a prolific, nor successful art career, but I envision that all changing in next couple years. I intend to use Fine Art America as the means to offer prints of my work.
