Malachite2 metal print by Cory Calantropio. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

The small Malachite stone was matted beneath the original painting in the same frame. I recommend this framing technique. It is fun to have a painting with the original subject of the painting also in the frame. I have also done this with small dried up beach crabs, and shells. I got the idea from nicely framed artwork of hand tied fish flies.
About Cory Calantropio
I'm a mostly self-taught artist, currently residing in Humboldt County, CA. My works are mostly done in watercolor but vary in styles from photo-realism to abstract. Some of my sea life themed works are influenced by having spent 5 years living in the San Juan Islands, WA.
