Artist's Description
This is a portrait of a real life brother and sister, the artist's niece and nephew. The original was made as a gift for the parents, and prints were given to each set of grandparents. The sincere adorable emotion displayed by the children in this piece is something all can enjoy.
About Cory Calantropio
I'm a mostly self-taught artist, currently residing in Humboldt County, CA. My works are mostly done in watercolor but vary in styles from photo-realism to abstract. Some of my sea life themed works are influenced by having spent 5 years living in the San Juan Islands, WA. I have not had a prolific, nor successful art career, but I envision that all changing in next couple years. I intend to use Fine Art America as the means to offer prints of my work. If you'd like to see a broader representation of my art, I invite you to look up the user name coryart on youtube and see the video "Some of my Watercolor Art over the years".

Hi Cory, Thanks for the comments. You have some very nice work. I like this and also the landscape with the cabins reflected in the water. Great job.

A fantastic drawing - 10/10 for the way you have managed to get the shades to blend in - I bow my head . . .
