Artist's Description
There were two versions of this same scene. This is the daytime version. It took about 100hrs to complete. The scene is of a redwood forest with a blue and white VW bus driving through the largest tree, with cannabis plants growing in the foreground, and Bigfoot in the background. The style of painting is reminiscent of Van Gough's "Starry Night". The imagery is all about Humboldt County
About Cory Calantropio
I'm a mostly self-taught artist, currently residing in Humboldt County, CA. My works are mostly done in watercolor but vary in styles from photo-realism to abstract. Some of my sea life themed works are influenced by having spent 5 years living in the San Juan Islands, WA. I have not had a prolific, nor successful art career, but I envision that all changing in next couple years. I intend to use Fine Art America as the means to offer prints of my work.
