This is a watercolor painting I did of Siobhan Magnus, from her performance of "Paint it Black". This expression on her face was from the moment she took a brief pause after delivering her power note. I was very disappointed to learn that she got the lowest number of votes in the top six contestants. She should have made it to at least the top three if not number one. :-( The original is larger than life with an image size of 18" by 19". It is available.
I'm a mostly self-taught artist, currently residing in Humboldt County, CA. My works are mostly done in watercolor but vary in styles from photo-realism to abstract. Some of my sea life themed works are influenced by having spent 5 years living in the San Juan Islands, WA. I have not had a prolific, nor successful art career, but I envision that all changing in next couple years. I intend to use Fine Art America as the means to offer prints of my work. If you'd like to see a broader representation of my art, I invite you to look up the user name coryart on youtube and see the video "Some of my Watercolor Art over the years".
